In this application, you'll go complete the following details:

(1) Modules Research Info: these are the courses you will be requesting/ranking based on your level of preference. Modules are generally 4 credits and the minimum number of credits to take in a semester is 12. Use the NUSMod tool to determine the courses you'd take.

(2) Personal Particulars: enter your personal information, such as: passport, date of birth and residency status - to name a few.

(3) Qualifications: include academic information, such as: current institution and major.

(4) Upload Supporting Documents: (a) Official Transcript, (b) Records of Courses Taken in CURRENT Semester/Term, (c) NRIC/FIN/Passport and  (d) Detailed Course Syllabi - if requesting course with prerequisites.

(5) Other Details and Declarations: this section inquiries about health history, housing needs and acknowledgement of application T&Cs.

Log into the NUS Online Application Portal - accept offer and upload photograph for NUS Student Card.

​

Complete, within two weeks of notification, the compulsory learning modules:

RC1000A: A Culture of Respect and Consent Course - this online module is a 2-3 hour commitment that covers safe, inclusive and respectful environment for teaching and learning.

SE1000: Student Essentials - an online module that encompasses academic integrity and behavioral expectations while in class.

Accommodation types are pre-selected for each applicant. I had the option of applying to Residential College 4 (RC4) or College of Alice and Peter Tan (CAPT), while other exchange students had different building selections.

Note: Residential Colleges and Halls have programs that allow residents to socialize; in comparison to Student Residences - which does not offer such programs. Please keep this in mind when applying to housing.

Housing secured! Log into the UHMS Application Portal to accept your offer. You must also complete an e-orientation to understand the rules and regulations of living in NUS housing. 

Note: Students residing in Residential Colleges and Halls to are required to subscribe to a meal plan; breakfast and dinner ONLY!

Student Pass Formalities, also referred to as: Offsite Enrollment (OSE), is the final step in the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). This will be on-site and the Ingestion of Vaccination Records in the National Immunization Registry must be completed prior to this step. Appointment on: 08/23/2023.

Collect NUS Student Card! Appointment on: 08/16/2023.

 

Verify COVID-19 shots - located on-campus. Appointment on: 08/16/2023.
